How it is meant to be used

Making variations is fast for the machines. Factory makes choosing and building on the good ones fast for us.

4ReviewNext morning, step through the new runs in 3D and rate them.

5BranchOpen the best one and start a new automation from it.

Every model in one gallery, with search, sort, filters and “new” markers.
A run is one stack you can open. You can rate a whole run.
“New automation from this” on every result, also by describing it in words.
Old projects come in by dropping a folder. Factory converts them and adds pictures.

The screens

Desktop, light. Every screen also has a dark version: use the switch at the bottom left of each screen.

Results galleryEvery model as a picture. Runs are stacks; open one to see all its results.

RunsThe morning review: what ran last night, a contact sheet per run, a rating for the whole run.

Result pageOne model in 3D, its run, its images and notes, and “New automation from this”.

New automationStart from a result, say what should change, run it tonight.

All projectsEvery project with its cover, counts and what is new.

One projectIts runs as a table with ratings, plus its results and automations.

Import old workDrop a folder of old projects, check the list, and Factory converts them and adds pictures.

How we got here

First we tried three looks. The proposal above uses A’s layout with C’s run table.

Dark and dense for judging fast: filters with counts, filmstrip, keyboard.
